Manchester Tank, an affiliate of McWane, Inc. is a privately held leading manufacturer
of low-pressure vessels for propane, air, refrigerant, and industrial
applications in North America and Australia. We continue to set
the standard for quality and reliability, and provide unsurpassed
value in both mass-market and customized D.O.T. and A.S.M.E. products.
Manchester Tank has grown from seven employees
and one product line in 1946 to an international company of over
1,000 employees and a broad range of products. North American operations
include five manufacturing facilities and numerous distribution
points throughout the continent, providing timely delivery to local
customers. A national sales force works constantly with our customers
to ensure we meet their needs efficiently and cost effective.
Australian operations include one manufacturing plant and a dedicated
sales force, serving markets in Australia, New Zealand and the
Pacific Rim. Our corporate headquarters is located in Franklin,
TN.
Manchester Tank's product line is broad
and includes virtually all low-pressure tank families. Propane
tanks made to DOT specifications range in size from 5 to 420 pounds. We are centered around the LP Gas, recreational vehicle and gas
grill industries. Air receivers are built in accordance with ASME requirements
and range from 1 to 5,000 gallons with focus on the air compressor,
and HVAC markets. Chemical and fire suppressant
tanks are built across a wide range of sizes, and custom-sized
vessel construction is available.
Manchester Tank sells to OEM customers, distributors,
and mass-market customers; we do not normally provide retail sales
to individuals.
